Focus on brain health
The new DNC building will be a place where knowledge is shared and grows. Brain health begins before disease occurs, and with a BRAIN UNIVERSE, patients, relatives, and interested citizens are invited to come in to gain knowledge about the brain and its diseases through interactive exhibitions, events, lectures, and conversations.
Dialogue, understanding, and shared responsibilty
The DNC building will be a living laboratory for dialogue and understanding, where stigma is broken down, bridges are built between research and everyday life, and where AUH and AU actively participate in prevention and early interventions for citizens throughout the region.
This will happen through partnerships that will help generate a large part of the knowledge dissemination and activity that take place in the house. Together, we can create more knowledge about the brain – both when it is healthy and when it is affected by disease.
